How did each job help prepare Santa for his job as Santa? |
We work to earn money to buy the things we NEED ~ shelter, food, clothing. *If we have enough money left over, we might be able to buy something we WANT.*
A JOB is something we do to earn money to buy what we NEED ~ this often is often a short time...maybe up to 7 years.
A CAREER is something we do to earn money to buy what we NEED ~ this often is for a long period of time....usually 7 or more years.
Think about what problems you might want to solve when you get older........what do you like to do ~ what are your interests? You could draw a picture, write a story, or even dress up as your future self doing that job!
It is important to remember that you might change your mind a whole lot before you even get to high school as to what you might want to be or the problems you want to solve when you get older. It is OKAY to change your mind. That is why we start talking about this subject now, so you have lots of time to figure it all out!
