largest part of your brain is called the CEREBRUM
–this
part helps you THINK
–there
are 2 parts to the CEREBRUM……the LEFT side controls the RIGHT side of your body
and the RIGHT side controls the LEFT side of your body
The
second main part of your brain is called the CEREBELLUM
–this
part helps you BALANCE and helps your MUSCLES work together
The
third main part of your brain is your BRAIN STEM
–this
part connects your BRAIN to your SPINAL CORD and helps the rest of your body work
Being
MINDFUL takes a lot of practice
–Let’s
start with THINKING before we SPEAK
–Take
a deep breath and count when you get upset
–Be
calm and LISTEN
–Pay
attention and focus on the TASTE of foods
–Pay
attention and focus on what you SEE and SMELL
–Think
about what you FEEL with your hands
