Mindful Tasting
*Mindful means being aware or really thinking about something*
When I taste something I like, my BRAIN
is active and ready to go; when I taste something I might not like, my BRAIN
might not be very active……..I will have to WORK HARD to make sure I am paying
attention, my brain is ACTIVE and ready to learn.
We shared a peppermint* lifesaver together and talked about how they think their brain may be feeling while they are enjoying this treat.
*(I have read that the scent of peppermint is supposed to stimulate the hippocampus and trigger us to wake up and pay attention!)
