On November 1st, the students at Craddock had a special program about sticking together and being kind. Thanks to Project Love and all of the supplies (duct tape, sharpies, book marks and banners) they shared to make this program possible.
We talked about what it means to stick together to them:
Stay with someone if they are hurt
Be friends
If you’re in a big crowd, stay with your parents
Hold hands
Pay attention if you’re on a field trip
Stick by people; help them

and how we should treat others:
Be nice
Listen
Be a friend
Help others
Follow the golden rule
Be respectful
Use kind words

We watched the following video together and discussed what acts of kindness mean:
*it made my heart so happy to hear the connections the students made to this video...they surely got the intended message!*
*it made my heart so happy to hear the connections the students made to this video...they surely got the intended message!*
It is so important that we always have conversations about being respectful, being kind, treating others they way you want to be treated and how to solve problems that may arise with our friends. It is important that the students know they have a voice and that their voice is important.
