CES ~ Lesson 11 - Attitude Matters.....

ATTITUDE MATTERS!

Just like practice allows our bodies and brains to learn things and get better, so can our ATTITUDE!

By having happy thoughts and experiences (and repeating them), we can keep an OPTIMISTIC attitude and grow more neurons!

Optimist = Happy, Joyful, Cheerful, Hopeful
Pessimist = Sad, Worried, Upset, Hopeless

We talked about things that might make us and others happy, as well as sad. It is okay to have pessimistic thoughts and feelings, but we shouldn't let them be in charge of our brain!
We reviewed what EMPATHY means, as well.

We then enjoyed the following book together:

*We are in charge of our feelings, thoughts and actions.........what will you choose?*

Germ experiment...........

I did an experiment to help show the kids how quickly germs can spread from our hands to other items........and why it is so very important ...
