Thank You ~

Thank You to the community members that randomly drop off non-perishable food items, hygiene products and paper products for Project Back-Pack . . . your generosity is greatly appreciated!

When I first wrote a grant for this program in 2008, I never expected it to take on a life of it's own, but it sure has! Once the grant funding was exhausted, different community groups offered to donate funds to keep it going ~ what a gift that support has been to our families that benefit from the program over the years.

There is no way that I could ever assist these families without the support of so many!  Whether it is with school supplies to food items to boots to gloves to white t-shirts for tie-dying, your support is amazing!!

Please know how much the support I get means to me . . . and to all of the families that have benefited from this program since it's conception in 2008.

Germ experiment...........

I did an experiment to help show the kids how quickly germs can spread from our hands to other items........and why it is so very important ...
