May 1st gave us beautiful weather and......our 13th Annual Vehicle Day at Miller!
THANK YOU to the following groups that participated this year:

Aurora City Fire Department

Sirna and Sons

The students enjoyed learning about our community helpers and their vehicles! They even were treated to apples, bananas and oranges from Sirna and Sons!

THANK YOU to the staff members for supplying lunch for our participants and co-workers!

Getting ready for the day!

The students love climbing through the police car every year!

Look at some of the excitement they are displaying!!

Even though they ride a bus daily, there is just something about visiting it while it is empty, sitting still and exiting out the back door!

Mr. Ken wanted Mrs. Dolezal or Ms. Mazzella to drive ~ the kids thought that was hysterical!!

Sirna and Sons let the kids go into the back of the truck and pick up their fresh fruit!

Such fun experiences!

The were so excited with the police car!

Parks and Rec was a hit with the big tractor and Gator!

Learning about how to get water from the fire hydrant!

They are learning about such neat new things!

It was fun looking at the fire truck!

The rescue squad or ambulance is always a hit!

Our fire chief was practicing his balance!

They were so excited with their fresh fruit!

Exiting out the back door!

Learning about how the ambulance works.

They even got to go through the fire truck!

They kids enjoying our visitors and sunshine!

This is what it is all about!!

Germ experiment...........

I did an experiment to help show the kids how quickly germs can spread from our hands to other items........and why it is so very important ...
