1st Grade story: Goob and the Bug Collecting Kit
2nd Grade story:
When I asked the 2nd graders what 'grown up' meant to them, here are some of the answers:
they will have a job
they will have money
they can make their own decisions
they will be able to drive a car
they will have a family
they will have kids
We talked about having a plan when it comes to:
completing school work
studying for spelling tests
getting my chores/jobs done
cleaning our rooms
cleaning our desk areas
doing projects
what we want to do when we grow up
