Never too young to learn about acts of kindness . . .

So here is my heart-warming story for the week . . . a Kindergarten boy approached me after recess today and said, "Ms. Mazzella, my friend left a heartprint today." I asked what happened and he replied, "Two people were making fun of me outside and she told them to stop because it wasn't nice; they stopped and even said they were sorry. She left a heartprint!" It took everything I had not to burst into tears at that moment.

I am beyond amazed the impact this book (pictured below) is having on some of the kids this year!!

Germ experiment...........

I did an experiment to help show the kids how quickly germs can spread from our hands to other items........and why it is so very important ...
