Audience Response Systems . . .

or as the children call them 'clickers'!! In the video clips below, you will experience parts a class lesson where the students are learning about how to use the 'clickers', actually using the 'clickers' and understanding why we are using the 'clickers' in our lessons!

The company Turning Technologies, which make the 'clickers', is located in Youngstown, Ohio, and I absolutley love these little pieces of technology! ;0) After completing our review lesson, we utilized the 'clickers' in our bullying lessons. Please ask your student what they learned!! Additional information on our bullying lessons is located on this blog site, also. Thanks for stopping by!!
The report that I refer to in the last video is called the RAMP. This is an application to be nationally recognized by ASCA (American School Counseling Association). It is a year long process of gathering data, compiling reports and writing narratives reflecting on all of the great things we do at Craddock for kids in the counseling department! If I am successful with the application, we will receive this recognition for 3 years ~ RAMP stands for Recognized ASCA Model Program. About six years ago, the District Counseling Department rewrote our curriculum to model national standards, which we currently follow.
*These videos were taped during our 80's Day Celebration! Thank You to Mrs. Goff for taping these lessons for us*
