What thoughts am I thinking?.......

During our class lessons (especially at Craddock), we've talked a lot about positive self talk or thoughts........we've talked about and even read some books that shared that our brains believe what we think or tell them ~ and that is why we have to be careful with our thoughts!

I am sharing two books about thoughts and what they can do to us, our brains, and our self esteem or image.  My 1st and 2nd graders should be able to talk to you about optimistic and pessimistic attitudes from our lessons, as well!!!

Please enjoy them together and even have some conversations afterwards. I've included some activity sheets below, as well.

THE GOOD EGG

THE BAD SEED

It is important that the thoughts I am thinking are positive ones, or ones that keep me from giving up?

Sometimes it helps to write down what we think of ourselves so it is easier for our brains to always think those thoughts!!

Germ experiment...........

I did an experiment to help show the kids how quickly germs can spread from our hands to other items........and why it is so very important ...
