Kindergarten Lesson 10..........Peace

During today's lesson, we talked about the word peace and what it means. We also enjoyed the following book together:

We learned that:
peace = to be calm or quiet
squabble = to argue or disagree
quarrel = to fight or argue
scold = to yell at someone 
scamper = to walk or run quickly by
cooperate = to work together
compliment = to say something nice to someone
being a good sport = to be nice ~ there will always be a winning team and a team that didn't win

After the book, we shared ideas what peace would look like in our classrooms.
