At Craddock this year, we are trying something a little different for our school counseling class lessons. This year, our lessons will revolve around self-control, mindfulness, being aware of what our brain does for us and possibly some yoga.
As a staff, we talked and found that teaching our students from this young age about mindfulness and brain awareness, it may assist in supporting their social emotional needs on a whole different level than ever before.
