BBP and BBG (Bully Buster Pink and Bully Buster Green) flew into Aurora this week to help support Bully Prevention Month at Miller and Craddock!
They read the following book to the 1st grade students on Monday:
and this one to our Kindergarten students on Tuesday:
and this one to our 2nd grade students on Wednesday:
BBP and BBG talked with the students about how someone can hurt us or make us feel uncomfortable:
With their words
With their bodies
With their actions
The students shared the following strategies in dealing with situations that may make them feel uncomfortable:
You can use your words and tell the person you don't like what they're doing
You can walk away
You can stand up for yourself or others
You can tell an adult
Tattling is when you want to get someone into trouble; Telling is when you need help
