The 7 Habits of Happy Kids ~

Ohio School Counselors have new state standards that we are required to follow so I decided to change some of the curriculum I have been using with the students.

While doing some research, I came across the 7 Habits of Happy Kids and felt it was a wonderful addition to my counseling program and would allow me to touch on or teach to the same important topics as I had previously done in the past, while adding a new flare or twist to the lessons!

I want to be able to touch on the cognitive, affective and behavioral aspect of learning with our kids and believe by using this curriculum I can create amazing problem solvers that will:

Know It (Mindset - cognitive)
Love It (Heartset - affect)
Do It (Skillset - behavior)

I am excited to start the class lessons at the end of September. Please be sure to ask your students what we are learning together. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please plan on attending our Elementary PCF on September 28th at Leighton (6:30 p.m.) to learn more about this topic for families, in general.
