Career Lessons begin at Miller and Craddock . . .

The week of April 15th brings the start of our Career Lessons at Miller & Craddock!

Our Miller Vehicle Day is scheduled for Thursday, May 9th and Career Week at Craddock is the week of May 6th.

During our 1st visits together at Miller, the students have shared the following possibilities that they may like to be when they grow up:
Fireman, Police Officer, Spy, Nurse, Mom, Dentist, Doctor, Paleontologist, Computer Scientist, Engineer, Zoo Keeper, Chef, Singer, and Princess (although I shared that I wasn't sure it would pay the bills for food, shelter and clothing, she was steadfast in her choice!!)

We will be discussing Community Helpers at Miller, while concentrating on why we work, the difference between a job & a career, and setting goals for our futures at Craddock.

Germ experiment...........

I did an experiment to help show the kids how quickly germs can spread from our hands to other items........and why it is so very important ...
